The pool is currently being heavily chlorinated (shocked) to kill all the algae and organic pond stuff. The filters are cleaning that junk out of the water when it is suspended in the water that pumps through the system however, a lot of the dead algae just sinks to the bottom or sticks to the walls. If we can get a couple people to stop by each day to scrub the floor and walls with a long-handled brush for an hour, it will help push the algae through the filters more quickly. To add some variety to the job, they could also skim the pool surface as some leaves, bugs, algae, etc is floating.
